Celebrating SNAP's 40 years of Investment in Community

This week marks the 40th anniversary of the landmark 1977 Food Stamp Act, setting the framework for the modern Food Stamp Program — or, as it’s now known, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

In honor of that,  we want to celebrate the strong investments that have been made in our communities. Programs like SNAP are one of the many ways federal policy makers work in partnership to help assure a prosperous future.
