Join U.S. Representative Tom Emmer, representing Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District, for Coffee with Congress.

As Congress pivots toward tax reform and continues to work towards an FY18 budget, there will be a large impact on nonprofits and grant makers right here in Minnesota. This informative conversation represents an opportunity to discuss those impacts, address concerns for nonprofits and foundations, as well as answer your questions.

Congressman Emmer, Minnesota’s Representative of the 6th Congressional district, was elected to represent central Minnesota in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014, taking office January 6 2015. Congressman Emmer serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and it’s subcommittees on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit and Monetary Policy and Trade.

We will hear Congressman Emmer’s remarks about what is happening in Washington and engage in a Q&A on the issues you care about.

The 2017 Coffee with Congress series is co-hosted by the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and the Minnesota Council on Foundations, and sponsored by Greater Twin Cities United Way and United Ways of Minnesota.
